Leadership

  • James Pan 潘柏乐

    Co-President, CC‘24

Research interest: Through studying regulatory genomics with computational techniques, I hope to decipher the molecular processes of cellular identity loss at genetic and epigenetic levels, so as to contribute to the diagnosis and treatment of age-related diseases, particularly cancer and Alzheimer's.

  • Coco Huang 黄可萱

    Co-President, CC’25

Research interest: I'm interested in developing tools that manipulate stem cells for therapeutic purposes. I'm currently conducting research at Dr. Tim Wang's lab and Dr. Harris Wang's lab. At Tim's lab, I examine the molecular mechanisms of gut stem cell signaling. At Harris' lab, I look at the impact of dietary additives on the gut microbiome, and helped develop a new tool - Exfo-Seq - that sequences exfoliated cells in fecal samples.

  • Elisa Huang 黄玉葶

    Outreach Chair, CC’24

Research interest: Stem cell biology and regenerative science

  • Claire He

    Events Chair, CC’24

Research interest: immunological mechanisms of neurological diseases

  • Aletta Chen 陈姝璇

    Vice Events Chair, Barnard’25

Research interest: Nutrition and Metabolic disease, specifically NAFLD and Type II Diabetes.

  • Sophia Deng 邓思佳

    Operations Chair, CC’26

Research interest: With an interest in molecular biology, my exposure to gene therapy and mRNA therapy at a biotech-focused venture capital solidified my research direction. Eager to further understand the mechanisms that drive life-changing therapeutics, I am interested in gene expression, its transcriptional and posttranscriptional regulation, and relevant genome engineering that can potentially translate into therapeutics for various human diseases. Currently working at Professor James Manley's Lab, focusing on lnc RNA.

  • Cindy Jin 金莫愁

    Recruiting Chair, CC’26

Research interest: I'm currently working in a breast cancer lab researching cell signaling and drug resistance mechanism; besides cancer biology, I'm interested in immunology, in particular its recent application in neuroinflammatory diseases.
